Helping Hungry Homes: Extreme Makeover Style

Smithfield Packing made a food donation in conjunction with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (EM:HE) for a new project in Delaware that will be aired on ABC-TV during Thanksgiving week. Be sure to watch for the episode in November!

For those of you who don't tune in EM:HE is a reality TV show aired by ABC featuring a family that is strained by recent or ongoing adversity and is in need of a new home.

The EM:HE crew builds each family a new home tailored to accommodate their specific needs. A team of designers coordinates with local construction contractors and hundreds of builders to construct an eco-friendly dream house in only one week. While the family enjoys a well-deserved vacation, the team remodels, and in some cases fully-reconstructs, their interior, exterior and landscaping at no expense.
